Hurricane and Catastrophe Plan

The onslaught of hurricanes during the first decade of this millennium solidified our ability to react to multiple catastrophes.  Past experience prepared us for the unique barrage of four major storms in 2004.  Although our  office was threatened and subsequently hit by Hurricane Ivan, we anticipated this disruption and swiftly relocated our entire office / team out of harm's way to an out of state area empowering us to continue full operation, entirely without interruption of service to insurers and assureds.

Our success handling claims during catas
trophes enables us to exceed the normal demands of vessel casualties in an effective, precise manner.  Our strategic plan is continually assessed and improved upon to strengthen our turn key operation during catastrophic events so that we are fully prepared for a large influx of claims.

Arrangements are in place to augment our staff with experienced professional surveyors and specialists who work under the direct supervision of our adjusters.

Utilizing our well established contacts enabled us to negotiate and secure the effective salvage of some 800+ vessels.
